West Burlington & Notre Dame Alumni Football Game

In celebration of 50 years of West Burlington Football and 40 years of Notre Dame Football we will be having a West Burlington & Notre Dame Alumni Football Game Saturday, August 20th at 7:00 PM at Bill Nelson Field in West Burlington. The game will be open to the first 60 football alumni of the two schools with a participation fee of $50 to be paid by Saturday, August 13th, which will include a souvenir t-shirt.

You can either fill out the registration form (http://wbboosters.org/index.php?option=com_rokdownloads&view=file&Itemid=188&id=60:wbnd-alumni-entry) electronically and email a copy to jeff.housel@wbschools.us and pay online thru PayPal @ wbboosters.org or you can print a copy of the registration and mail a check to West Burlington Athletic Booster Club address on the form.

Once all entries are received teams will be drafted by the coaches selected for the game. For local participants eager to get a head start on training, practice sessions will begin Monday, August 15th thru Friday, August 19th at 7:00 PM at the high school practice field. There will be a 10:00 AM practice and equipment fitting on Saturday, August 20 for all participants. This should be done by noon which will allow time for lunch, golf, socializing, etc.

Prior to kickoff there will be a “Parade of Football Alumni” which will include any former players in attendance who are not participating in the game along with the participants to be honored by class for the crowd. Admission to the game will be $5 for any student or adult and souvenir t-shirts will be available for sale as well as fully stocked concession stands. All proceeds from the game will be earmarked towards the completion of the school/community all-weather track.
