Join Us This Sunday!
A retirement reception honoring two staff members of the West Burlington Independent School District is scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 5th in the Family Life Center of West Burlington Christian Church, 545 Melville, West Burlington. The public is invited.
The reception will recognize Barb Carter and Carol Mullin. A third staff member, Barb Evans, also retired from the district but is unable to attend the reception.
The event is being sponsored by the West Burlington High School Alumni Association. The Association was established last year to promote the spirit of alumni unity and camaraderie through communications and reunions, to locate alumni, and to provide a resource to W.B.H.S. through donation of alumni time, talent and treasure. In addition, the Association fundraises to provide annual scholarships to graduating WBHS High School Seniors.
